Spartans Connections Central Taxis Trophy and Jim Martin Cup.

The Reds and the Blues took part in this excellent event today..

League runners up Blues had a makeshift team today due to holidays and players not turning up. the Blues lost their 2 games after spirited performances against 2 well organised teams... keep the heads up guys , you all did brilliant.

The Reds won their 2 games 7-3 & 4-2 with Terry(1), Patrick(1),Jordan (2), David(LOADS) all finding the net to launch themselves in the final with Spartans Royal Blue team.

After taking an early lead in a brillient end to end game we found ourselves 3-2 down for David to score in what must have been the last second of the game to take the game to pens, Sadly wasn't our day and Spartans lifted the trophy... Reds you should be proud as you all played excellent and gave your all and of course congratulations to Spartans on winning the trophy..

A few players were selected to take part in some Skills Challenges and seen Dean and John collect a trophy for winning their section (as you can see in the pics John is delighted)

3 players from each team were selected to play in a Spartans select for the Jim Martin Cup. Mathew,Dale,Jamie Rinn , David,Terry & Alan Ferguson all represented the Colts with the Spartans Blues winning 3-1 over Spartans Reds with Colts David getting on score sheet for Spartans Blues.
